Snow!
We got snow! Not much but hey in the southwest a little goes a long way. Monte loves walking in it. Marshall likes to look out the window but says it's too cold to go out. :)

Little Boys
So for the last week Monte has taken to drawing pictures. He loves to draw him and Josh hunting and camping. He is so much fun. He is pretty good at drawing too! Here are just a few of his latest creations.
Him and Josh on a moose hunt.
The whole family hunting oryx.
Now for an update on Marshall. He is the messiest eater. He is just messy all the time. Trying to keep him clean and presentable is quite a challenge. The other day for lunch we were having chicken legs and rice. He insisted on using a butter knife to cut the meat off so that his face would not get dirty. (I think he doesn't care one bit about being dirty it's just fun to use a knife). So as he was sawing away, with the dull side might I add, I asked him if he knew what the sharpest thing in the whole world was. He told me no and so then I proceeded to tell him our teeth are so sharp and that they would do a better job at getting the meat off his chicken leg. He looked at me and said "What about chainsaws?" I started laughing. He didn't skip a beat and just kept on cutting away with his butter knife. Here lately we don't know what is going to come out of his mouth or what idea he will have next. He and Monte are so much fun and very opposite.
After eating he had chicken in his hair. He got a shower just after this picture.
Our baby girl! Only 14 more weeks at the most and then we will get to meet her.
I have so much to be thankful for!

Camping And Deer Hunting
So we went camping up at Beaverhead NM for 5 days. It was quite a trip. Before we left in our way into town the camper tires started going flat so we had to stop and have then all serviced before we left town. It made us get up there late. Then once we got there the heater quit working. It was pretty cold. Luckily we have a propane heater for tents that got us through the first night. Then while Josh was hunting on Saturday the kids and I went back 2 hours to the nearest town and had the heater fixed.
It was a fun yet hard trip. It was one of those trips that really makes you appreciate all the blessings of modern living. Especially in cold weather. The boys and I had a good time. Later when I am done unpacking I will post some more pictures of the whole camping trip.
This is the small deer Josh got. It was slim pickings this year with the drought and then the fires and then the flood. We normally see lots of wildlife up there. We saw hardly any elk, few deer, and no turkeys. There is normally lots of them all up there.
