Merry Christmas

Wow what a week we have had. So Josh had taken a few days off so that this week we could go so some fun family stuff. Well Sunday we went to church and the nursery smelled funny when I got in there. One of the other moms came in and said it smelled like vomit to her. So we sanitized all the kids hands and started cloroxing everything. When we didn't get sick Monday or Tuesday I thought we had made it.

Well Christmas Eve night Marshall was pretty grumpy, by 2am he was moaning his tummy hurt and by 4 he was vomiting. 😕 Poor boy would sit up and try to open a present and puke. By 9 ish he stopped vomiting.

Also on Christmas Eve I had a doctor appointment. I had been having lots of contractions and pressure and was kinda worried. Well he checked me and sure enough I was dialated. So he sent me to the hospital to get betamethazone shots to help develop the babies lungs so that if she decides to come early she will hopefully be ok. So with sick kids Christmas Day we had to go back up to the hospital to get the rest of the steriod treatment for the baby.

Our fun week has involved catching puke, 2 trips to Silver for hospital visits, oh and Josh threw his back out on top of it all. It's been a very long and not so fun week.

On the up side we have a wonderful Father in Heaven who loves us and sent His Son to show us how to love and live and to suffer for our sins. I am so thankful for that knowledge. I am so blessed. Life throws curve balls and things don't always go as planned but there is one thing that will never change and that is Gods love for us and His promise to us.

Brothers

Are siblings not the best?  Look at my boys. They snuggle like this every night. It's so fun to go check up on them and see them like this. If one wakes up and wonders in to my room in the middle of the night, it's not long before the other wakes up from being alone and comes to find them. It's so sweet to me. They might fight and wrestle and have their moments of bugging eachother but at the end of the day they are best friends. Just how it should be. I love my wonderful little boys. They are so much fun to play with and visit with and snuggle. It's going to be so fun the see them with a sister. I know they will love her and take such good care of her. I am so blessed.

Chorizo!

So the other day in Walmart Monte kept asking about something good that Papa makes that's eggs but not eggs and turns red when you cook it. So we wondered around Walmart trying to figure out what he wanted. Finally he shouted chorizo! So we had chorizo for dinner and I had two very happy boys!

My pregnancy at 29 weeks!

I love taking walks in the evening. And I must say my shadow is pretty entertaining. ;)

Snowmen!

So I found this cute idea online and thought the boys and I could make it. It is snowmen out of candy and marshmallows. It was so fun. The boys lost interest after they got theirs done and just wanted to eat them. But I had fun the whole time. Can hardly wait to give them to the adorable nieces and nephews!

How fun is Christmas time! I also made fudge and Heath bar to share with friends and neighbors. I love making Christmas goodies.

Thanksgiving Weekend

What a nice weekend we have had. We had a relaxing day Thursday. The kids got to play with cousins at Grandmas house, the food was wonderful, the company was great, it was very fun to see everyone. I have a lot to be thankful for. I have a wonderful family!

Friday we worked on the yard and then Friday evening we went to Lucinda's. Justin and Carson had deer tags and were trying to fill them this weekend. Carson got his first buck Friday and then Wayne and Justin and Josh went out Saturday to get Justin one. Lucinda and the other boys and I got to visit and hangout. It was so enjoyable. Here are some pictures of the kids playing.

We took the boys on a walk up the canyon and let them play on the sand wash. They loved it.

They buried Carson but I was not fast enough to get a picture. :)

What a beautiful world we have been blessed with! It all works together so perfectly and there is just no other explanation than that my Heavenly Father  loves me and wants me to enjoy His wonderful creations.

Thanks Lucinda for having us come visit. We had a good time. Congratulations boys on your awesome deer!

Happy Thanksgiving!
